WAMTEC offers rewards (5 free cliptapes or 3 free commercial tapes) to anybody who sends in a clear copy of the most wanted and rarest tv/move clip items. There are over 100 "classic" scenes that we have been searching for, for years. The following is a list of some of these most wanted items. Although these are all "rare" items, they have been researched carefully, and they DO exist, somewhere, someplace. It is only a matter of time before they show up. Some of our current MOST WANTED items are as follows:
NICHOLAS NICKELBY: A period bathing scene from the 1977 UK TV BBC series, starring Nigel Havers.
HENRY AND DIZZY: From the long running Henry Aldrich movie series. This is the 1942 entry that has Noel Neill and another actress in a sinking boat. Update: this was found in Feb, 1998.
ROMMEL'S TREASURE: The 1959 Italian/UK production starring Dawn Addams, which has some amazing underwater fantasy scenes.
CORPSE OF BEVERLY HILLS: a.k.a. DIE TOTE VON BEVERLY HILLS, the 1964 avant-garde German/US co-production that features a cocktail party with fully clothed participants wading in a swimming pool. Update: this was found in Nov, 2002
THE POWERS GIRL: a.k.a. HELLO BEAUTIFUL, the 1942 Carole Landis film with many ladies dancing in the rain. Update: this item was found in November 97.
FUNZA POPPIN: The early 70's kids show that had numerous slapstick scenes, and aired in several areas of the western USA.
JOHN MEADE'S WOMAN: The 1937 film with a classic wet scene.
LYDIA BAILEY: The 1952 film with a nice wet scene.
WHEEL OF FORTUNE: A classic show from 1987, where Vanna White took a fully clothed dip in an on-stage pool. Update: this item was found in December 96.
